revdb_execute
Type
function
Summary
Executes the revExecuteSQL command.
Syntax
revdb_execute(<databaseID>, <SQLQuery> [, <variablesList>])
Description
Use the revdb_execute function to execute a SQL query without selecting records.
Evaluating the revdb_execute function has the same effect as executing the revExecuteSQL command. The only difference is that one is a function call and the other is a command.
The revdb_execute function is part of the Database library. To ensure that the function works in a standalone application, you must include this custom library when you create your standalone. In the Inclusions pane of the Standalone Application Settings window, make sure both the "Database" library checkbox and those of the database drivers you are using are checked.
